Disneyland 2

We took so many pictures at Disneyland that I had to do this in two installments. This is actually the second half of our trip. Anna chose to collect pins which is fun because you can trade the pins you don't like with any employee that has pins. We also found out that only the Disney employees have the special pins with little Mickey ears. It is a whole culture that we never knew about.
These green army men from Toy Story were so cool, especially the last drummer.

We actually saw Santa and got his signature. Just a tip, the autograph books are so fun. Gathering autographs and pictures is so worth it. Then the kids lo0k at them over and over again.
Maliboomer is one of the scariest and most fun rides for me, just a little too short.

One of our funniest memories was while we were waiting for the bus. Livvy was just entertaining herself by dancing, making weird faces and performing for the passerbys. It went on for a while. One guy actually spoke to her. After he walked by she held her hands out and said "What!" Like "What is your problem. It was so funny. Luckily he was a good sport.

Toy Story, the longest wait and most popular ride at California Adventure.
They were selling these rain ponchos near the Grizzly River Run for $15.00. We remembered this ride from two years ago and how it took me a full day in the sun to dry from one ride. In the day we all went on it once without the ponchos, but at night we pulled them out and were the envy of all around. We bought ours at Walmart for 88 cents a piece.

Rock climbing at Koda's challenge trail.
 Screamin', no hands.
 We Watched the Aladdin Show

Koda,Mator and Lightning McQueen
 Tianna and her prince

Disneyland is so gorgeous at night.

Disneyland 1

This is the first part of our trip to Disneyland. I am sorry to bore you with the details that are very exciting to us, but I'm making a book out of our blog and I just gotta. Walking into Disneyland the first day is probably the most nostalgic part. You know, tickets in our hands, does everyone have their ticket, where should we start, which ride first, will we still feel the magic as we walk in the doors? And then of course we do and the fun begins and it will last for three whole days.

Wakie, Wakie,  "We're going to Disneyland.  We're going to Disneyland."
  It's a Small World first.

They have no idea what is going to happen to them as soon as they get on that ride.

Here's a good look at Jeff's scraped face after healing for three days.

After this ride, Natalie exclaimed, "  That was sooooooo Awesome!!!"  Music to my ears.

The Mark Twain River Boat gave us a look at Tom Sawyer island.
Thunder Mountain Railroad was voted the favorite ride in Disneyland. You know how they make you feel like a VIP. One ticket taker gave us a nights worth of fast passes for this ride. We couldn't even use them all and shared the wealth.
Mary Poppins and Bert.

Waiting for Mickey was the longest line. We waited for about an hour+. Luckily we met some nice people from Sacramento that helped us pass the time.
You never know how your children are going to act around celebrities. Olivia tried to tickle under Mickey's chin and said, "Tickle, tickle." Typical behavior. ha
Minnie's line wasn't so bad, but we had to get those autographs. It really is one of my favorite parts of the trip, to gather autographs for the little girls.
Olivia tried to feel Goofy's Whiskers. Who wouldn't?

Kristen's very favorite thing was Tom Sawyer's island, which no one else was interested in except Nat. They didn't know what they were missing. It has improved for those of you who have been in the past.

A cage made of human bones and skulls.

The barrel bridge was pretty hard to walk on, but really fun.

Treasure!!!

Waiting for us to get off guess? Thunder Mountain Railroad.
The second day we discovered Space Mountain. Then it became our favorite Disneyland ride with Splash Mountain and Pirates and Thunder Mountain.

Fantasy Land. Ya gotta do it.

What else are you going to do while waiting to ride Snow White
In California Adventure, on the second day, we went straight to the Grizzly Rapids, and feeling confident did not wear our rain garb. It was a mistake as we were dripping for a few hours, then just wet.

The girls and Cindi. I'm pretty sure she remembered us from two years ago.
